It's a lovely guesthouse - everyone was very kind and the room was spotlessly clean. Diego gave us great and thorough advice on local restaurants and shopping options so that we could pick from several as we explored the neighborhood. We were on the fourth floor - it does get warmer up there, but the room's air conditioning unit (wall installation) was very sufficient and during the day we kept the windows closed to the sun to help keep the room from being hot when we were out for the day. The AC will turn off when you are not in the room, so I do suggest common sense while you are out! Help them keep the rooms cooler by shutting your blinds during the day. We liked the neighborhood because it wasn't wildly touristy, was interesting, easy to walk and close to the metro, pharmacies, good grocery shopping (Pingo Doce was our favourite and their inexpensive wines are great)!. The trees smelled amazing. The pastelaria below the hotel makes a delicious galão, so we usually had that with a pastry for breakfast. Sidenote: I guess I can understand why some people didn't like the construction/empty site across from the hotel but for me, eh, it's just part of an old city...the building in question is clearly old and (I think?) part of an old brewery. It's just part of the story of Lisbon. I got up early and watched thunderstorms over the rooftops and enjoyed the scent of the trees and the sight of a busy, vibrant city waking up.

We expected a great guesthouse and were pleasantly surprised that it was an even better one! :) It's at a great location, 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station. There is a bunch of restaurants nearby, a supermarket next door, cafés... The rooms are really cozy and comfortable, everything was super clean and we were welcomed by a couple of Pastéis de Nata, a cup of tea and a rubber duck for our daughter. :) Every room has a kettle, coffee, tea and a minibar, but you can also use a shared kitchen space to prepare some light meals and eat. You can also sit in the garden which is really relaxing - hard to believe that the hotel is on a very busy street. Now, the only flaw (for us, hence the score 9) was that the bathroom did not have a step stool and a toilet adapter, which would be super useful for people with small kids. We had to improvise, so our dauhter climbed on the trash bin to wash her hands and teeth and we also had to hold her above the toilet seat when she needed to go - so these two things are a strong reccomendation for the owners, it would be a big improvement! Otherwise, we had an amazing stay and would definitely book again.

I had an amazing stay at this property in Lisbon! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was perfect—convenient for exploring the city while still being in a peaceful setting. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and my room was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I could possibly need. The mini-bar was always fully stocked, which was a nice touch. Waking up to a beautiful garden view made my mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, I have absolutely no complaints—just a fantastic experience all around. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and well-managed place to stay in Lisbon, this is the one. I will definitely be returning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything! It was such a welcoming feel as soon as you walked in, off the street. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room constantly had a fresh fragrance that brought the mind to peace and relaxation immediately. We were amazed at how quiet it was in our room, yet if you opened the window the street noise was high with sirens, cars honking. You closed the window and there was silence! Impressive. Same in the garden, beautiful serene quiet and we loved the kitchen as a place to use and cook. We only used dishes from it but there was a lady in there one night making her full meal and it gave a sense of a home atmosphere. We will definitely recommend and come back. Can’t thank you enough for all the details you include to make it truly an escape and relaxing experience.

Friendly and very accommodating staff welcomed two very bleary-eyed travellers with all the information we needed to start our trip. A special treat was left by the guest house the first evening which was delicious! The outdoor garden area is an oasis where we enjoyed our morning coffee before setting out on the adventures of the day. I particularly like the WhatsApp updates, reminders from the hotel reminding us what to expect, when to checkout etc. The hotel and rooms are bright, nicely appointed and we had a balcony to enjoy the sights and sounds of Lisbon. As well, we received restaurant recommendations and were delighted with the warm hospitality of their recommended restaurant.
